About The Castaway Resort

A love letter to coastal Labrador.

Five years ago, I fell in love—with the wildness, the landscape, the culture, and the people of this rugged, beautiful place. What started as a feeling became a vision: a space where community and adventure could meet, where visitors from all walks of life could rest, connect, and celebrate.

Purchasing The Castaway Resort was both thrilling and terrifying. But I saw something more than a business—I saw a basecamp. A home away from home for anglers returning from the river, berry pickers with full buckets and stained fingers, and seekers of stillness coming down from a day of massage, movement, and sea air.

This vision has come to life—and I am so grateful to witness it.

You’ll see me around (likely with a coffee in hand), along with my three incredible daughters and my wild, beautiful grandson. Our family—and our amazing local team—is here to welcome you, feed you, cheer you on, and share this magical stretch of coast with you.
